Q1How far does the free plan go?
Up to 5 people and 10 boards, with every feature, and no time limit. Gantt charts, chat, and custom fields are not held back on the free plan. No credit card is needed.
Q2What does the sixth person, or the eleventh board, cost?
The Standard plan is $5 per person per month, or $4 paid annually, both excluding tax. The limits on people and boards go away and storage becomes 20GB. The features are the same as the free plan. Only the size limits change.
Q3Will I suddenly start being charged?
No. Nobody using Pinateca today will be billed without agreeing to it, and before any paid plan starts we will tell you the price and the terms first.
Q4How are boards counted?
As a total across all of your workspaces. Splitting work into more workspaces does not raise the limit. Archived boards are not counted, so a board you have finished with can stay rather than be deleted. Importing from Trello is the exception: more than 10 boards come across as they are.
Q5Can I bring my data over from Trello?
Yes. Load the Trello export file (JSON) and your boards, lists, cards, labels, checklists, attachments, and comments all come across. There is a page about it under Import from Trello.
Q6Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. There is no app to install. It runs in the browser on a phone or a tablet, so you can check things and reply to comments while you are out.
Q7How do I invite members?
From your workspace settings, by email address. They open the link in the invitation email and they are in. Membership is managed per workspace.
Q8Can I add partners from outside my company?
Yes. Give each engagement its own workspace and an outside member sees only what is in that workspace. Roles can narrow what they are able to do further.
Q9Can I get back a card I deleted by mistake?
Yes. Deleted cards go to the trash and one click puts them back where they were.
Q10Can I see who changed what?
Yes. Cards created, moved, and deleted are kept in an activity log, and login history is kept per account.
Q11Where do notifications arrive?
Mentions, assignments, and due dates addressed to you gather in the inbox inside the app. The bell at the top of the screen shows everything unread at once.
