Gantt charts in Backlog start at the Standard plan (¥16,000 per month). In Pinateca they are in the free plan. Backlog does have Git and SVN repositories built in, which Pinateca does not.

Drawing a schedule in Backlog needs Standard (¥16,000 per month). For a team of ten, Pinateca costs $50 a month and includes the Gantt chart.
Backlog has no chat channels. Nulab's Typetalk shut down on 1 December 2025, so conversation now happens in an outside tool. Pinateca has a channel per workspace.
Custom attributes in Backlog start at Premium (¥27,000 per month). In Pinateca you add your own fields to a card on the free plan.
